Why I’m Running

Public service has always been about one simple idea: making government work for the people it serves.

Throughout my time in the Legislature, I've worked every day to deliver real results for Belmont, Arlington, and Cambridge. Together, we've expanded access to higher education by making community college tuition-free, defended reproductive freedom, fought for housing affordability, protected immigrant families, invested in clean energy, and secured millions of dollars for local schools, parks, nonprofits, and neighborhood improvements.

But our work is far from finished.

Families across Massachusetts continue to face rising housing costs, an uncertain economy, and growing challenges that demand thoughtful, effective leadership. I believe government works best when it listens to people, brings communities together, and delivers practical solutions that improve everyday life. That's the approach I've always taken, and it's the approach I'll continue to bring to the State House.

I'm running because I believe every child deserves a great public education, every family deserves an affordable place to call home, every worker deserves dignity and opportunity, and every resident deserves a representative who is accessible, responsive, and committed to getting things done.

I'm proud of what we've accomplished together, but I'm even more excited about what lies ahead. With your support, we'll continue building stronger schools, safer neighborhoods, a cleaner environment, a more affordable Commonwealth, and an economy that creates opportunity for everyone.
